Every time you wash your clothes in a laundry machine, thousands of microfibers break away. Microfibers are so small that they cannot be filtered efficiently by wastewater treatment plants and thus end their journey in lakes, rivers, seas and oceans.
Microfibers released into aquatic environments are a consequent source of pollution as they alter marine ecosystems.

To limit those harmful damages, Elea Brussels decided to become a partner of Guppyfriend Washing Bags.
Guppyfriend Washing Bags retain ninety to a hundred percent of microfibers in the bags and reduce the number of fibers that breaks off.
Guppyfriend sales support the “STOP! MicroWaste” NGO, creating educational programs to raise awareness on microfibers’ pollution.
